Abdul Amir (Arabic:عبدالأمير) is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a supporting character in The Ballad of Gay Tony.
Background
Abdul Amir is a wealthy, Emirati businessman. He is Yusuf Amir's father who is most prominently featured visiting his son in Liberty City.
Events of The Ballad of Gay Tony
Arrival in Liberty City
Abdul arrives in Liberty City to meet his son and to go to few business meetings. He is disappointed with the way Yusuf lives, as he makes very clear during Caught with your Pants Down (using drugs, picking-up hookers...).
Game's End
By the end of TBoGT, after Luis and Tony defeat and kill Ray Bulgarin, Yusuf mentions that Abdul Amir is interested in franchising Gay Tony's clubs. After Tony left Liberty City, it's likely that Abdul and Yusuf franchised the clubs.
Appearance
Mr. Amir's manner of attire is similar to what many in the Middle East may practice; while donning a white Western suit, Mr. Amir is also depicted wearing a more traditional shemagh headdress complete with an agal.
