List of acts at Perestroika, a cabaret club in Grand Theft Auto IV

The club features a total of four different acts, two of which will be shown each time the player watches the club's show.

Description[]

The acts that appear in each show are fixed in sequence and order. A total of eight different shows can be played before they are looped.

The performers do not appear outside the realms of the shows, and are only seen within Perestroika. The acts could not be seen in The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony until the release of The Complete Edition of GTA IV.

An unseen MC is heard introducing and commenting as the curtain closes on most performances.

He only has 1 routine.

List of routines[]

Performer Routine Gallery Description
First Visit (3:52 duration)
The Incredible Kleinman Levitation Kleinman levitates Lauren from a table successfully before being interrupted by a heckler and dropping her onto her neck. He claims she is quadriplegic but the MC reassures the audience she is probably only paraplegic.
Ms Bluesy St. John Losing Your Baby While sitting on a stool, after a lengthy introduction she sings a very short number about, among other things, pushing a girl off a swing.
Second Visit (1:43 duration)
Dusty Cowpoke Shootout A mimed shootout with minor acrobatics ending with his hero apparently being shot, with the crowd roundly jeering and the MC hoping the next act placates them.
Catch Bowling Pins The juggler handles three bowling pins with ease, making no mistakes.
Third Visit (4:28 duration)
Ms Bluesy St. John Sex Change She sings about gender reassignment and the MC closes by pleading with her not to do it.
The Incredible Kleinman "Guillotine of Doom" Seemingly unaffected by her fall, Laurel prematurely pulls the guillotine as soon as Kleinman puts his arm in the box, severely cutting his forearm. Kleinman chases her from the stage as the curtain closes.
Fourth Visit (3:19 duration)
Catch BBQ Tools His dangerous routine, as he juggles a set of three BBQ tools: tongs, a fork and a cleaver. The routine goes well until the curtain starts to close and he drops the tongs, but he continues to manage the other two items as the act closes.
The Incredible Kleinman Knife Throwing The curtain opens to find Laurel shackled to a backing board and Kleinman holding three throwing knives. The first knife is thrown between her right arm and head, the second between her knees, but the third is thrown directly into he right shoulder, a mistake claimed to be caused by the distraction of the filthy stagehand she had been seen "trolloping" with. The curtain closes as he pulls the knife from her shoulder.
Fifth Visit (3:00 duration)
Ms Bluesy St. John Mixing Metaphors An increasingly more wasted Bluesy makes linguistic nonsense before the curtain closes with the MC suggesting she is the victim of domestic abuse.
Catch Tophats Catch comes out juggling three tophats and wearing a fourth. He adds the fourth hat to the juggle moving around on stage before turning his back to the audience as the curtain closes.
Sixth Visit (4:19 duration)
The Incredible Kleinman Saw of Death The curtain opens to Kleinman by himself in front of a table with a circular saw blade. He calls Laurel onto the stage, telling her to put down the whiskey bottle and put out the cigarette. She shackles him to the table and he instructs her to start the saw. As the saw cuts into his groin and the blood showers the stage, she runs off as the curtain closes.
Ms Bluesy St. John Bathtub Meth A song about mixing homemade meth in a bathtub as she again fades late in the number.
Seventh Visit (3:31 duration)
Catch Blocks Three painted blue blocks are juggled, with some acrobatics including a backflip. At one point, he fumbles a center block on the catch but successfully recovers and continues.
The Incredible Kleinman Sword cabinet. The curtain opens to Laurel in front of a vertical cabinet which she opens to reveal Kleinman with a sword. A second sword is seen leaning against the side of the cabinet. Kleinman gets back inside the cabinet and Laurel inserts the first sword at around thigh height, seemingly safely. She then moves to the other side and inserts the second sword at around chest height struggling to push it in and from the noises he makes, it is clear it has hit him. She then goes behind the cabinet and produces a blowtorch and proceeds to set the side of the cabinet alight. She opens the door to reveal the magician ablaze and he collapses forwards onto the stage as the curtain closes behind him.
Eighth Visit (4:04 duration)
Ms Bluesy St. John I'm Medicated Another drugs number talking about legitimate medication she is now using to manage to get through successfully.
The Incredible Kleinman Guns In his final death-defying act, Kleinman claims to be able to catch a bullet from a pistol with his teeth. He stands in front of Laurel who shoots him in the forehead from near point blank range before she walks over to where he is somehow still standing and nonchalantly pushes him over, while maintaining her performance pose.
Visit cycle repeats from the first visit.
