Beryl Cartwright is a minor character appearing in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969.
History[]
Background[]
She is the sister of Harold Cartwright and lives in Central Camden Town, London. According to Albert, she is notably older than both him and Harold.
Events of Grand Theft Auto: London 1969[]
In 1969, after the protagonist kills the Noles Brothers for taxing money and drugs from Harold Cartwright, Pretty Charlie tells the protagonist to drive to Beryl Cartwright's home in Camden Town to avoid the police.
At some later point, during the Dead Certainty chapter, Albert Crisp's personal stash of drugs is stolen and he blames Harold for stealing them after he disappears. In order to find out where Harold is, the protagonist is told to confront Cyprus Phil and Beryl Cartwright in order to find out his location. They both will deny knowing where Harold is, however, and Albert himself will order the protagonist to kill them.
Shortly after Cyprus Phil and Beryl are killed, Archie Crisp finds Harold's location and the protagonist tracks him down and kills him; however, it is later revealed that he did not steal Albert's drugs.
