Cherie is a character in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and resident of Liberty City who works as a prostitute. She meets Huang Lee in 2009 and mistakenly believes he is coming on to her. After lashing out at Huang, she and ten fellow prostitutes begin to attack him. The player can choose to escape their attack or kill them.

This random encounter comically refers to the popular notion and controversy that most people pin on the Grand Theft Auto series: paying hookers for their services and then killing them to get your money back. Cherie states during the encounter; "Losers like you pay us working girls for a ride, then unload your guns in our faces just to get your filthy money back!"
