Crates are weapons in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, they are only usable during the missions Catalyst for Ryder and Stealing the Show for Zhou Ming respectively. They are not lethal, but are considered weapons by the game as they take up the "thrown" slot and have their own icon.
