Background

Delores is the dispatcher at Kaufman Cabs in Little Haiti, Vice City, and by 1986, has been working there several years.^[1]

Tommy Vercetti purchases the company, and, when asked, tells Delores that he is not part of any gang; she notifies the drivers that there is a new boss, and that "the Vercetti Gang is gonna make sure we get no trouble".^[2] She tasks Tommy with jobs for the Kaufman Cabs asset through the dispatch radio.
