Emerald Station, also known as simply "Emerald", is an underground subway station in Grand Theft Auto IV. It is part of the Liberty City Subway system, serving the J/A Algonquin Outer Line and adjoining 3/8 Broker Line.

Description[]

Emerald is a two-entrance station situated on both sides of Emerald Street between Luddite Row and Albany Avenue, at the border between Lower Easton and Chinatown in Algonquin, Liberty City. The station is particularly close to Algonquin's hidden arms dealer just southwest of the station.

The station has also been featured extensively during "Three Leaf Clover", when the player's team is forced to escape into the station from the police following a bank heist. The mission also reveals the station featuring a service exit to Easton located further north from Emerald station, before Easton station.

Prominent Appearances in Missions[]

  • In Three Leaf Clover, Niko and his crew go down to Emerald Station as part of their escape from the police. They leave the subway through a maintenance entrance for Easton/Emerald stations.

Bugs/Glitches[]

Emerald LTA Error Sign

The error on the signs within the station.

Signs depicting the A/8 train platform in the station show the wrong information. Instead of showing "Next stop: Castle Gardens", the sign shows "Next stop: Emerald", which is the current station.
