Eugene Reaper is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto IV and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
Background
In high school, he played football and, during his senior game, completed the game winning pass, at the cost of breaking his leg in thirteen places in the process. According to a story on Weazel News he was a computer technician.
At some point in his life he joined the Liberty City Gun Club.
Events of GTA IV
Eugene is inside the Chinatown branch of the Bank of Liberty in Algonquin while it was held up by Patrick McReary, Derrick McReary, Michael Keane and Niko Bellic.
After quietly conferring with fellow hostage Luis Fernando Lopez, who thought it was a bad idea to stand up to the armed robbers, he comments on his experience as a football player and says that "the world is built out of bad ideas".
Eugene is then seen drawing a concealed pistol and opening fire, killing Michael Keane. Packie and Derrick immediately kill Reaper in retaliation.
The news were later called him a "hero".
