Fire hydrants are common items found in all Grand Theft Auto games. When rammed with a vehicle, fire hydrants will be knocked out of place and a blast of water will shoot out form the fire hydrants original position. After a while it will stop, covering it up with a car will cause it to shoot trough the car. However the problem was fixed in GTA IV.
