Firemen are NPC´s that appear in most of the GTA Series games. They come in Firetrucks when between 5-10 flames are around. They can be seen in certain missions, such as Rigged to Blow. If it's a large fire then it isn't very likely that they are going to put it out but they stay until the fire is eventually out or if they are provoked by the player. Firemen wear many different clothes in all of the games in the series.

Firemen, also called firefighters, are non-playable characters that appear in every Grand Theft Auto game.

Like in real life, their duty is to protect the public during emergency situations and respond to fire calls. The behavior of firefighters varies by each game, as does their effectiveness. Up until Grand Theft Auto IV, firefighters would only appear if there was an actual fire. In the HD Universe games, firefighters can be seen at fire stations.

Overview

They come in Firetrucks when 5-10 flames are around. They can be seen in certain missions, such as Rigged to Blow. Up until GTA IV firemen do very little to put out any fires. In GTA V however, they do react to fires and can be called through the emergency services option via the player's cellphone. In GTA IV and GTA V, they will attack players with a wanted level, but only if the player is unarmed, and Police Officers will never arrest or attack them. In GTA Online, they can become hostile towards the players for no apparent reason, and this also happens with police officers.

In GTA San Andreas, they will also fight back if hit by the player. However, if the player shoots them, they will simply run away. If the player aims a gun at a fireman, he will put his hands up. In the HD universe, they always run away in fear if the player aims at them or shoots a gun nearby.
