Alright, so apparently, everybody is wrong. You can control the annihalator (and indeed all other helicopters, but annihalator is best) without a tail, without using cheats or mods. As the helicopter spins, spin your control stick in the opposite direction at the same speed, in such a way that the side you're moving to points toward your destination (When your left side points in the desired direction, press left, as the rear points in said direction press back). This would be an excellent addition to any of the helicopter pages but I want someone to confirm this to make sure I wasn't aided by the wind. Oh, and I spelled "Annihilator" wrong.
i have confirmed it by chopping off the tails of a few helicopters and i could still fly towards the direction i was heading in, however tilting backwards/fowards does not work and only tilting side to side works and raising/lowering altitudes.Ecreme 20:09, May 9, 2011 (UTC)
- Forwards/backwards worked for me, I could nudge it slowly in the direction I wanted. If I tried to spin the joystick it always flipped over. Infernux 00:25, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
