Indoor Outdoor, also known as Huayang Carpet Co., Ltd (華洋地氈公司) is a flooring supplies store in Grand Theft Auto III.
Description
The store is located in three locations in Chinatown, Portland, Liberty City. According to the signage on all three stores, their address is 105 Allen Street.
It is inaccessible to the player and plays no significant role in the storyline.
In Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories the business is called "Outdoor Indoor Clothes", although in the mobile version, the store reverts to the Hardware and Flooring Specialist (Hardware Mall 硬件商城) signage, albeit without the English Indoor Outdoor name and with the address changed to Main Street.
Influence
The texture that identifies the store and street are based on a real life "Indoor Outdoor" store[1] at 105 Allen Street, New York City that existed up until 2009.
