Kenneth Clark Loggins, referred as just Loggins or Captain Loggins, (born January 7, 1948 in Everett, Washington) is an American guitarist, singer and song writer and the DJ of the Los Santos Rock Radio station in Grand Theft Auto V.
In real life, he is an American guitarist, singer and song writer, known for his soft rock music in the '70s and for writing and performing for movie soundtracks in the '80s. He's released six platinum albums, two as part of the duo Loggins and Messina.
- His song I'm Free (Heaven Helps the Man), from the Footloose OST is featured on the Los Santos Rock Radio station. Another of his songs, I'm Alright, was due to appear on the station but was cut from the final game.
- He also wrote the song "What a Fool Believes", recorded by The Doobie Brothers, alongside with Michael McDonald. This song is also featured in the radio station.
- Loggins is referenced in the online race Business Class. The description reads "Do Loggins proud and race some fighter jets around Downtown LS and Vinewood. Weave between buildings and through construction sites on your laps. Two tight turns at either end." This is most likely in reference to his song "Danger Zone" being in the soundtrack of the movie Top Gun.
