Knowing Me, Knowing You is one of the Stubbs' Dirty Laundry side missions in The Lost and Damned, given to Johnny Klebitz by Thomas Stubbs.
Overview[]
The mission involves Johnny going to Bryce Dawkins' mansion in Westdyke and stealing his orange Infernus. Johnny then takes the car to a mechanic in Acter Industrial Park, Alderney. The mechanic fits a bug in the car, to allow Stubbs to expose Dawkins' homosexual relationship with Bernie Crane.
Walkthrough[]
Drive to Dawkins' house in Westdyke, and steal his Infernus parked in the driveway. Drive to the Acter Industrial Park and meet the mechanic, who fits the car with a bug.
Stubbs also mentions the mechanic will fix any damage to the car. If the car is damaged en route to the Industrial Park, it will be fixed once Johnny meets the mechanic.
Once the car has been bugged, the player must return the car to the mansion within four minutes. Be very careful not to damage the car, otherwise Dawkins will become suspicious.
Return the car to Dawkins' mansion, and leave the area.
Aftermath[]
At some point after the mission, Johnny will receive a text message from Stubbs giving him a number to call if he wants to listen to the bug in Bryce's car (If the player saves and reloads before getting the text, Johnny will not receive the text and will not be able to listen to the bug).
Dialling the number will allow Johnny to listen to various random situations, such as:
- Bernie Crane singing "Golden" by Jill Scott or "Just Be Good to Me" by The S.O.S. Band while stuck in traffic.
- Crane talking about being at the Hercules and meeting Tony Prince's bodyguard, Luis Lopez, mentioning "If he played for our team, I would totally be a catcher".
- Niko Bellic driving around at high speed while shouting and shooting at pursuing police officers. This is because Bernie Crane gives the car to Niko as a token of appreciation for helping keep his relationship with Bryce a secret.

Trivia[]
- The mission's title is likely a reference to the 1976 song of the same name by ABBA.
- This mission, along with Tunnel of Death, are the only missions in the GTA IV trilogy where Niko's voice can be heard on the other end of a phone.
- This mission is similar to the GTA San Andreas mission 555 We Tip, which also involves stealing a car, though in San Andreas the car belonged to a DA and was planted with Marijuana.
- Funnily enough, breaking off the Infernus’ car doors and then returning it to Bryce Dawkins' mansion will not trigger any suspicion and the mission can be completed safely.
- After parking the Infernus back to its original spot, the player can actually stick around for the timer to run out and for Bryce Dawkins to supposedly return. He never does, but if the player attempts to move the Infernus again, the mission will immediately fail with Dawkins reporting the vehicle as "missing".
- Strangely, in one of the post-mission phone calls, the player can hear that the Infernus’ engine sounds get replaced with that of a Turismo and Niko firing what sounds like an Automatic 9mm at pursuing police officers, despite the fact that the Automatic 9mm is not available in the base game.
