The Lewd Lorry is a lorry in Grand Theft Auto: London 1961.
Description
The Lewd Lorry is evidently a cargo lorry intended to transport "lewd" pornographic material (its "wank mags" signage implies the lorry carries magazines of this nature). The lorry shares a slightly modified but still similar cab design as the Tanker in London 1969, as well as the Potato Truck in London 1961. While vague in indicating its real-life inspiration, the lorry is presumably based on a 1950s or 1960s British model.
As expected for a vehicle of this design, the Potato Truck's performance is poor, albeit better than that of the Potato Truck. The vehicle is still considerably heavy, has poor top speed, grip, braking and handling, and average acceleration. Although game files reveal it possesses a good base export value of £900, the lorry cannot be exported due to its size.
The Lewd Lorry is prominently featuring during the third payphone mission string in the game, when the player is required to destroy two such lorries on transit in the streets as a final assignment in the mission string.
