Logging On is a mission in Grand Theft Auto IV given to Niko Bellic by his cousin Roman from Roman's cab depot in Hove Beach. The mission introduces computer usage, TW@ internet cafés, and the ingame internet, and is also the first appearance of Brucie Kibbutz.
Mission walkthrough
Niko meets Roman at his taxi office in Hove Beach, and also meets Brucie Kibbutz, a friend of Roman's. Roman tells Niko he is frustrated that Niko doesn't have an email account, and Niko promises to create one.
Niko leaves Roman's office and drives to the internet café on Oneida Avenue. Niko walks inside and meets Alejandra, another one of Roman's friends. Niko logs onto a computer and activates an account with the EyeFind Mail Service. Once Niko's account has been created, he logs off the computer and leaves the internet café.
Mission objectives
In order to complete the mission the player must:
- Go to the internet cafe.
- Go and speak to the assistant in the cafe.
- Go and use one of the computer terminals.
- Check your email
- Reply positively to activate your account
- Log off the computer terminal
- Leave the internet cafe

Niko calls Roman and informs him he now has an email account, and he also makes a comment about Alejandra's breasts.
Roman calls back asking Niko if he would "acquire" some cars for Brucie.

Trivia
- Before this mission, Alejandra will not be seen working at the internet cafe on Oneida Avenue, and a man will be seen instead.
- It is possible for Niko to access the internet before this mission, though he cannot contact other characters until this mission.
- It is possible to kill Alejandra before logging on to a computer without failing the mission.
- When Niko is talking to Alejandra, the player is unable to control him. The player will regain control of Niko after the conversation is over.
- The player may take money at the cash register, since the mission ends when the player leaves the Internet cafe, the player will not attain wanted level.
- This mission has to be completed as there are some missions that involve using the computers.
- Rigged to Blow and Search and Delete cannot be unlocked unless you complete this mission first.
- This is Brucie's first appearance in GTA IV.
