A monkey during the mission Did Somebody Say Yoga?
Monkeys are animals that appear in Grand Theft Auto V. Although not appearing in the wild, they appear during the mission Did Somebody Say Yoga? while Michael is hallucinating. They also appear in the mission, Monkey Business.
Overview
In the mission Did Somebody Say Yoga?, Michael has a bizarre drug-induced hallucination in which he is in an alleyway surrounded by angry monkeys.
These animals appear later on in the storyline, in the mission Monkey Business inside the Humane Labs and Research Facility. The monkeys are all in cages, and appear to be in a severely agitated state, possibly suffering from the effects of animal testing or due to the shootout.
A monkey actor named Chippy appears in the film Meltdown, acting as the stereotypical animal comic relief of many modern movies.
Three Masturbating Monkeys, a group of self-pleasuring monkeys, go on to win Fame or Shame.
Appears in the movie trailer The Simian, one being chased by the military and then, a lot of them invading the city, using weapons, including a Minigun and even driving a Sanchez.
Trivia
- Although called monkeys in the game, they are technically not monkeys at all, as the latter term more correctly refers to primates with tails. Instead, they are chimpanzees, a kind of ape.[1]
