Trivia[]
- Mr. Fuk's Rice Box was likely intended to be a Chinese restaurant. This is evidenced by the signs inside that read "Authentic Szechuan and Peking cuisine". However, due to its location and being used as a front for the Korean Mob, it was likely changed to a Korean restaurant during development, with interiors being unchanged. The word "Fuk" does not exist in Korean phonetics. It does exist as a Chinese character (福) meaning "fortune", further suggesting that it was intended to be a Chinese restaurant.
- "Fuk" is a reference to the curse word "fuck", but it is pronounced "fook" by Jon Gravelli and the Police Scanner.
- "Rice Box" is a slang term for an East Asian woman's vagina.
- The restaurant might be based on the real-life Pyongyang restaurant chain, a North Korean international restaurant chain that is said to be where the North Korean government operates money laundering schemes. The in-game restaurant is used as a front for the Korean Mob which originates from North Korea.
- It is accessible in Multiplayer mode.
