Birds-eye view of Paleto

Paleto is a small town featured in Grand Theft Auto V. Paleto is located on the lush north coast of Blaine County.

Characteristics

At the base of massive Mount Chilliad, Paleto is a coast side town that hosts a chicken festival, which is sponsored by Cluckin' Bell. The dense vegetation that grows around the area is a vast contrast that of Sandy Shores's. The town is a good resting stop for players traveling around Blaine County. Paleto, also, seems a good spot to parachute down from Mt. Chilliad. Paleto may be the GTA V's version of Angel Pine.

Events of GTA V

Not much is known right now, but there will be at least one heist planned in Paleto. Other than that, it's unknown for now.

Influence

The town could be based on real-life Santa Barbara, California.

• Paleto is the Spanish word for Yokel, which is a term for poor people who grew up in the poor countries.
