Introduction
This is a page basically about parking. It's your choice, read it or not. It has some tips and tricks on parking in the GTA World.
Basics
The right Vehicle Before you park, pick the right vehicle for your space. If you are rather clumsy, pick a small slow vehicle, like the Manana. If you're really experienced, then I guess you can use the Infernus. Also, you can use a bike to park in short spaces.
The Space Next, pick the space. The easy place is a car park, as the spaces are easily marked. Many GTA cities have lots of multistoreys, especially San Andreas. If you can master it, then move to the streets, try parking on the roads. Also, think about the size of the space. If you have a Stretch, don't park in a short space meant for a Faggio. Instead, park in a space around the size of four Patriots parked together.
Types of Parking Styles
Marked out Parking This is easy way. Just turn into the space straight.
Diagonal Park This is usually on the streets. The spaces are marked.
Parallel Park This is really hard! It's best if you do it on a quiet neighborhood street. Just turn the wheel either left or right and reverse (depending on which direction the space is) and once you reach the curb turn the car the opposite direction depending on which side you're on. Then, if it's possible, go forward.
Obstructions and problems
Other Cars Beware of the other cars while you're parking! Just clipping or lightly touching it can set off the alarm.(If it has one).
The Sidewalk and Pedestrians You also must be aware of the other people around you if the space is near a sidewalk or a space where people can easily walk. Make sure you don't go over the curb when you park.
