Red Mist XI are a football/soccer club based in Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto IV. The team is one of the three soccer teams that made Liberty City their home. Red mist is a term given to a large quantity of blood flow, implying that this soccer team is violent and possibly referencing to violence in soccer.

Red Mist XI are most likely based on the New York Red Bulls, a real life professional soccer team, playing in the MLS.  The crest is loosely based on Columbus Crew's, an MLS team from Columbus, Ohio.
