Rise FM is a radio station featured in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories that plays trance and house. It is hosted by Andre the Accelerator in GTA III and Boy Sanchez in GTA Liberty City Stories.
Description[]
In GTA III, Rise is hosted by Andre the Accelerator. The playlist consists of a continuous live set which is being played live from a nightclub called The Planetarium and broadcasts from a studio in Newport, Staunton Island. It doesn't feature commercials. One song is featured twice in the playlist, a rare occurrence in the GTA series, although it is featured to complete the "loop" of the station.
In GTA Liberty City Stories the station is hosted by Boy Sanchez and features one set of commercials which plays at the end of the playlist before the station loops.
This is one of the favorite stations of the Colombian Cartel and Maria Latore.

- When Grand Theft Auto III was remastered for the PC version, Rise FM appears to have been omitted, as the other stations in the game have noticeably higher quality.
- The song "House Music" by Eddie Amador (1998) samples "Together Forever" by Exodus (1982), which can be heard on Paradise FM in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
