The Safari is an "estate car" (known in the United States a "station wagon") in Grand Theft Auto: London 1961.

Design[]

Grand Theft Auto: London 1961[]

The Safari is based on a Citroën DS "Break" estate car, also known in the United Kingdom as the "Safari", explaining the origins of the car's in-game name. The Safari is effectively the only estate car in the entire Grand Theft Auto: London subseries, and serves as a mid-range car alongside GTA London 1961's Raver 2000. Being a 1950/1960s estate car, the Safari comes complete with a roof rack.

Performance[]

Grand Theft Auto: London 1961[]

The Safari's performance and internal traits are nearly identical to that of the Raven 2000, with 25% more weight than usual, an excellent top speed, good acceleration, braking and grip, and average handling. The only differences are that the Safari has slightly better grip than the Raven 2000, as well as 2% more vehicle health.

Rewards[]

Grand Theft Auto: London 1961[]

  • A Safari can be exported for £400 (when in mint condition).
