Slacker is the second mission in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories given to the protagonist Toni Cipriani by Vincenzo Cilli from his warehouse in Atlantic Quays, Portland Island, Liberty City.
Mission
The mission begins with Toni entering Vincenzo's warehouse in Atlantic Quays. Vincenzo tells Toni of a dealer who has not been working the Leone patch in Chinatown. Vincenzo also says that there are parallels between them, indirectly calling Toni a chicken-shit. Vincenzo sends Toni to find the dealer and take him to his patch.
Toni finds the dealer in Saint Mark's, opposite Salvatore Leone's Gentlemen's Club. The dealer makes excuses, which Toni ignores. Toni takes the dealer to Chinatown, where the dealer finally admits he is scared off being killed by members of the Sindacco Family, who have taken the area over.
Mission objectives
In order to complete the mission the player must:
- Pick up Vincenzo's dealer from St. Mark's district
- Take the dealer to work
Reward
The monetary reward for completion of Slacker is $100. Completion of the mission unlocks the next mission for Vincenzo, Dealing Revenge.
Deaths
- Dealer (Unseen) - Killed by Sindaccos for dealing in their turf.
Notes
- After Toni forces the dealer to come with him, a Freeway attended by a biker is available to be stolen, and a homeless person is spotted standing in front of a bench holding a Molotov cocktail (the person will flee when approached).
