Tahir Javan is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series, appearing as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto V.
Background
Javan is a wealthy Azerbaijani businessman whom the United States government believes to be linked to terrorist groups. Despite this, he is, by all other accounts, known as a beloved philanthropist, who donates huge amounts of money to charity for San Andreas' poor and under-privileged.
Using information gained from Ferdinand Karimov, the home theater technician who installed Javan's home theater, FIB agent Steve Haines locates Javan's home and sends Dave Norton and Michael De Santa to assassinate him.
After Karimov is tortured into giving Haines a detailed physical profile of Javan, Michael locates him amongst the various guests at the house party Javan was hosting and proceeds to kill him with a sniper rifle.
Mission appearances
- GTA V
- By The Book (Killed)
Trivia
- The FIB sees Tahir as a threat, but after killing Tahir, Weazel News announces that he was a good man.
- He can actually be killed after the first interrogation sequence. Interestingly, the mission will not fail, and Michael will just say "It'll check out".
