Chop
Chop isn't a "playable" character. You can only just look from his perspective. Coolguysdontlookatexplosions (talk) 00:57, January 12, 2014 (UTC)Coolguysdontlookatexplosions
It was funny to take the perspective of him, anyway ShinodArif (talk) 22:48, September 12, 2014 (UTC)
Trevors helicopters
I stole a Cargobob during the beginning of another mission for Trevor, so I had 2 helicopters on the landing pad.
During the last cut-scene at the end of this mission, my cargobob had been teleported to in front of the hangar. As Soon as I had control of Trevor, I went to the landing pad (which was empty) and clicked "E" to what's saved there by "changing the saved vehicle" (or something like that). The list showed ONLY a Frogger. This is strange, because I had just landed the same frogger on the runway. So anyway, I assumed that R* is trying to be clever and take my non-purchased cargobob away from me, so I immediately flew the cargobob back to the landing pad. I left a little space and put the frogger back too. Then I drove away on Trevors car that was parked near the landing pad. I turned around in the distance and came back to find that the frogger was in the middle of the landing pad and the cargobob wasn't listed at all. It seemed to have just ceased to exist.
Obviously this pissed me off. I loaded the autosave from the end of the mission, causing Trevor to spawn at his trailer. I got into his car, which was now in front of his trailer and drove to the airfield. The cargobob was parked on the landing pad and the frogger was listed as a saved vehicle.
I guess it ended well and it's safe to save the game now. If both helicopters were safe all along, why did the cargobob spawn away from the landing pad at all? Or maybe the cargobob would have been lost, if I hadn't done all of this? GMRE (talk) 19:38, May 27, 2015 (UTC)
- It's because you have parked two helicopters on the landing pad. The max capacity is one helicopter. The game simply deleted the Cargobob from memory and saved the last used helicopter, which was the Frogger, instead. (you can only enter two different vehicles before the older ones start getting deleted when not looking at them - since you parked a Frogger next to Cargobob and then drove off in Trevor's car, that's two different vehicle models, the game could delete the Cargobob to free up memory)
I'm not sure why the Cargobob was moved out of the helipad after the mission though. 20:01, May 27, 2015 (UTC)
