Stilt Houses[]

So what's the deal with stilt houses? Do they reuse the existing apartment interiors or do they have new ones? This page could do with being expanded to better explain them.--UserSigLeighBurne (talk) 16:31, December 27, 2015 (UTC)

Duplicates[]

Well, what do we do? We have Dynasty 8 listing properties, and this listing them again. Shouldn't the descriptions here be moved to the Dynasty 8 page? Or the entire table itself? This is confusing. I can see a similar thing occuring at Dynasty 8 Executive and Offices.... :/ Mr. Ferrari (talk) 23:48, June 17, 2016 (UTC)

Have all the High Life apartments been changed?[]

Could someone just check for me please, even if it's too much to ask for? Some people are saying they've been changed back to the pre-High Life style. Spiky Eared Pichu (talk) 21:51, October 2, 2017 (UTC)

Nope - Just traded a pre-highlife for an "updated interiors" and as you can see, it has the updated interior. Smurfy: illuminate - communicate - spectate 23:47, October 2, 2017 (UTC)
Ahh, thanks Smurfy. Must have been some thinking on my behalf. Spiky Eared Pichu (talk) 12:49, October 3, 2017 (UTC)
Actually, one other question - Does the studio still exist for some of them or did the heist planning board remove them? And do the stilt houses have studios that get replaced by planning boards? Spiky Eared Pichu (talk) 19:02, October 3, 2017 (UTC)
As far as I know, it is gone. All High-End apartments qualify as Heist set-up locations so there is no option to get a High-End apartment without a Heist Setup room. And, fwiw, I agree, it is a shame to have lost that room. I haven't purchased a stilt-house (yet) so will need to check their interior out at some point. Smurfy: illuminate - communicate - spectate 22:07, October 3, 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, it really is. But I do think that from what I remember the room does exist briefly until Lester tells you that some of his proteges are coming over to renovate the room. So that might mean the Stilt Houses do have a studio room as they qualify for heist, but eh. I might suggest to Rockstar for a feautre to remove the heist room optionally, but I'm afraid if they'll inflict a huge fine to get it back. Spiky Eared Pichu (talk) 15:00, October 4, 2017 (UTC)

High-end apartment accessible in Director Mode[]

I'm not sure what the policy is on discussing locations that can be glitched into in articlespace, so I'll just leave this here: a version of the high-end apartment located in a building to the north of Bahama Mama's - I don't know the address - can be entered in director mode by using the well-known "fly as a bird under the map" glitch (the same glitch that allows players to enter the fully realized Bahama Mama's interior and a few other places). The apartment is complete, but none of its features (TV, etc) work. You can also enter the hallway outside the door, which you normally can't, and walk up to an elevator door that will open (but otherwise is non-functional). An odd glitch-within-a-glitch (though I get the feeling it's more an easter egg given its nature) is you will occasionally encounter a single NPC sitting on the toilet in the bathroom. Two other features in the Director Mode version of the apartment: you can use weapons inside the apartment, and, if you get a wanted level (such as by killing the intruding NPC), it will remain as police gather outside - it won't start flashing - and it's possible to get hit by bullets if standing by a window. The only way to exit the apartment is to transport to another spawn point. 23skidoo (talk) 14:32, August 24, 2020 (UTC)

Update and overhaul[]

Given the fact that the Apartments page has been ‘Under construction’ since 2015, I decided to actually do some constructing. I added a new paragraph with a more clear list of all the apartments, much like the one listing all the properties on the Dynasty 8 page, minus the garages. I also more accurately listed the location of each apartment. Next on my to do list is an overhaul of the ‘Interiors’ paragraph in order to get a more orderly overview. I will also check the entire article (including the newly added/updated paragraphs) for spelling/grammar, working links and consistency.

Completely rolled back. See talk above about repetition which you reinstated. Smurfy: illuminate - communicate - spectate 22:31, August 27, 2020 (UTC)
I agree that some information is repetitive. But I did not reinstate that, I merely made the article more orderly. The information from the Dynasty 8 page is still on the Apartments page, even after your rollback (see the table in the 'Interiors' paragraph), only now (thanks to the rollback) it's much more disorderly, hence the reason an overhaul of this article was necessary.
Personally, I think it makes sense for an article about apartments to at least list the available apartments. I also think people would find that information more easily than if it could only be found on the Dynasty 8 page. But I admit that I could be wrong there, so if you really want to keep the apartment list on the Dynasty 8 page and not on the Apartments page (so as to avoid repetition), I would accept that. But I also made the entire article more clear and orderly. You rolled that back as well. So how about we keep the overhaul and simply delete the table I added listing all the apartments? That way there would be no repetition AND the article would be cleaned up.

I'm reviewing all your changes now, some of it DID meet the requirements of the cleanup tag I added a while ago when Monk and I started discussing the cleanup of the property page(s). I'll let you know. Smurfy: illuminate - communicate - spectate 23:05, August 27, 2020 (UTC)
