Terroil is apparently a company specialized in the refinement and commercial sale of fuel, but appears to have a limited presence in Liberty City, operating only one filling station at Albany Ave in Lancaster, Algonquin, as well as a refinery at the Acter Industrial Park; Terroil storage tanks can be found most in the Acter Industrial Park. Like with other gas stations in GTA Chinatown Wars, Terroil's sole gas station can be used to produce Molotov cocktails.
Terroil fuel tanks feature the slogan "Waging war on oil prices", referring to the names similarity to the word "terror" along with a common theory that the prevailing wars in the Middle East are, in fact, more to do with oil than "freeing" certain areas of the world. If you look closely at the company logos, the two "R"s have what resembles an assault rifle magazine in between the two ends of the letter.
Terroil could be the gas station Kerr McGee, since the names sound and look similar. Kerr McGee has little to no stations. This could be why there is only one of these stations. There's also a slight possiblity it could be BP with the similar color scheme, although BP has a huge pressense in Oil, and Terroil does not.
- Several racing-inspired vehicles in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V (Sanchez, Bati Custom, Jester (Racecar), Massacro (Racecar)) feature Terroil decals, as well as Xero Gas logos. This may indicate that Terroil is the motor oil sponsor (as opposed to the fuel provider), or could just be an oversight.
- The stickerbomb options for the Asea in GTA V feature Terroil decals.
