The cover of Ambulance's fifth and final album, Synapse, bears a striking resemblance to that of Synchronicity, the 1983 album by The Police.

Band Chronology
- At some point before 1984, the band was created by Crow, Trev and another unnamed musician, who all grew up together.
- Some time later, Trev was put in a wheelchair, presumably because of an accident of some sort, possibly caused by another band member. He receives 10 percent of the band's money until 1984.
- The band split in 1984, after Crow left.
Trivia
- The band's name is obviously a reference to The Police, a real-life band in which Sting (who Crow is based on) was the vocalist.
