The waste ground on the Map
The Waste Ground is the demolished area behind The Doherty Garage located at Doherty, San Fierro. It has an accessible bulldozing crane, and 2 burned and destroyed bases of buildings. The Waste Ground is the believed to be the area where the Twin Towers stood, due to the look of demolishment and the fact that it clearly looks like 2 tall buildings once stood there. Yet, it is impossible for it to be the site of the WTC since San Andreas is based on San Francisco, not New York. In the mission Deconstruction you have to bury a construction worker who was insulting Kendl here. Mostly all of the area is construction material. You can obtain a Chainsaw, a Shovel, a Sniper Rifle, and some Granades hidden in one of the old sewer pipes near the crane.
