Johnny

Johnny, why did you die in GTA V! I'll find you Trevor!

Well, I love Mega Man, Ren and Stimpy & Grand Theft Auto. Two best gaming franchises (and Ren and Stimpy is the best cartoon of the 1990s personally) in my opinion but, that's not the point. My three favorite games in the GTA franchise are Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto IV & Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V is most favorite). Also, my name is Nick and that's it.

I am an okay artist (well, my opinion as an artist. You think what you think about me). However, if you are intrigued then stick around. If not, then go away and fly with the birds to the Pitcairn Islands or something.

Favorite Mega Man characters have to be Proto Man, Mega Man (Rock or DLN-001), Bass, Zero, X, Shadow Man, Dr. Wily, Cut Man, Elec Man, Tron Bonne, Gemini Man, Auto, Roll (Legends series), MegaMan Volnutt, MegaMan.EXE (although I am a very low fan of the Battle Network series as he was the only character I liked from that series), Crash Man, Dr. Light (although only in the Megamix and Gigamix series), Vile, Sigma (although I feel his character is pretty bland, I mean really the only thing that you could say about Sigma is that he's evil and there is nothing more to it. I just really like his dark and intimidating voice in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X) and that is about it from the top of my head.

My favorite visual artist is John Kricfalusi (personal favorite but I know lots tell me that Hayao Miyazaki is the greatest and I agree though Kricfalusi has some inventive, experimental but still classic animation styles). And Michael Dante DiMatino, he's awesome.

My favorite manga artist is Hitoshi Ariga (creator of the Mega Man Megamix and Mega Man Gigamix). Favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, Inception, Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy & Chronicle.

Favorite TV shows are Ren & Stimpy, South Park, The Simpsons, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, One Piece, Naruto, Sword Art Online (season 1 only), Fullmetal Alchemist, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Black Lagoon, Soul Eater & the Mega Man Ruby-Spears cartoon (ehh.. it's crap but it's good crap).

Favorite musicians/bands are Radiohead, Gorillaz, M83, Damon Albarn, Death Grips, Jimi Hendrix, Flying Lotus, Aphex Twin, Madlib, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Thundercat, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Madvillian, DJ Shadow, Björk, Daft Punk, OverClocked Remix, J Dilla, John Talabot, Nas, Nirvana, Ratking, Sun Kil Moon, Tycho, Tony Castles, Twin Shadow, Tim Hecker, UNKLE, The Velvet Underground, The War on Drugs & Yes.

Favorite novels/short stories/novellas are That Was Then and This Is Now, The Secret Life of Keiko, The Outsiders, The Ransom of Red Chief, The Hitchhiker & Flowers for Algernon. Favorite writers are Michael Dante DiMatino (yeah, I know he worked on the animation of The Last Airbender but, I believe he wrote the show too. Correct me if I'm wrong.), S.E. Hinton & Daniel Keyes.

Love both the Shin Megami Tensei franchise and Mega Man franchise TO DEATH. Die hard fan of both. Favorite gaming platform is the PlayStation 2. Interested in drawing, writing and learning Japanese (kinda). My tools of the trade are drawing, papier-mâché, abstract and psychedelic.

Life never ends up the way you expect it.
— Nick Shrine.

Life up to 2008

Nick Shrine was born on June 28, 1984 in Cerveza Heights, Dukes, Liberty City. Nick first lived in Willis, Dukes, Liberty City. His family was so poor during that time, they eventually got evicted from their Liberty City apartment in 1988, when Shrine was only 4 years old.

Their family ended up moving to Paleto Bay in Blaine County in 1989. Shrine's father did find a good paying job afterwards. The job required frequent trips to the neighboring city of Los Santos which was only an hour away from Paleto Bay. Shrine's father often allowed Nick to come on these trips as Nick made some friends in Los Santos, especially in Strawberry and Chamberlain Hills.

When the riots broke out in Los Santos in 1992, Shrine's father was shot in Little Seoul by the Triads and died thereafter. Shrine's mother ended up working two jobs to support her son and herself in their Paleto Bay apartment.

Shrines' mother very much dislikes Los Santos however, after realizing that many jobs were available to support her son, she moved to La Puerta in 1995. In 1999, Nick began getting involved in drug trafficking marijuana and other drugs with The Lost MC chapter that was set up in 1997 in Vespucci Canals, a nearby neighborhood from La Puerta.

When Shrines' mother finally found out about the trafficking about seven months later, she kept him from leaving the house for two years. The local high school in which Nick was attending at the time was never notified of the activity in fears that Nick might get expelled. When Shrine became an adult in 2002, he left La Puerta, moved to Vespucci Canals and began mass trafficking with The Lost MC. Shrines' mother died from cancer in 2004.

Although Nick was upset by his loss, he was very commited to The Lost MC. He eventually ended up moving to Alderney later in 2004 to meet Johnny Klebitz and other Lost MC members at the time. Things died down until 2008 when Niko Bellic became involved in Shrines' life.

2008

Shrine first heard about the buzz of Niko when he was delivering a package to one of the Lost MC's "clients". Shrine was curious so he contacted Niko. Over a string of murders and drug deliveries over four months, Niko became a traitor to The Lost MC when he helped out the Pegorino family. Shrine was sent out to go and assassinate Niko, however Shrine refused. Shrine could become an extreme target if he were to assassinate as Shrine put it "the Scarface of Liberty City".

Secretly, Shrine left The Lost MC and moved to Northern Gardens of Bohan to escape. Niko wanted Shrine to be one of the robbers for "the big heist" (specifacally Three Leaf Clover). Shrine accepted as he thought it would be his chance to become rich and leave Liberty City for good. After the heist was finished, The Lost MC found out about Shrine's secret departure from The Lost MC and the heist, (The Lost MC believed that they should've taken some portion of the cut but they didn't take any money from the heist at all) they were ready to murder Niko and Shrine

Johnny Klebitz knowing that without Shrine, The Lost MC could be very damaged, he bribed him. Shrine refused the bribe and threatened Klebitz saying that if he came back again, he would get the Triads to defend him along with Niko. Eventually, Johnny and other Lost MC members did attempt to kill Shrine in a three-way shootout (Liberty City Police Department, Triads along with Shrine and The Lost MC).

However, Shrine and Niko (who was in the shootout as well) were able to escape to Francis International Airport with Niko taking a flight to Vice City and Shrine taking a flight to Los Santos. Shrine moved into a luxerious apartment in Vinewood Hills later in 2008 by himself. Shrine kept contact with Niko in Vice City until 2010 when Niko wanted to completely break off contact with his "crime life".

2013-14

Shrine feels like he wants to get back into the drug trafficking business, however he wants to do it alone. He also wants to get revenge on Johnny Klebitz and The Lost MC who lives in Blaine County for the attempted murder back in 2008. Shrine knew that Johnny was addicted to methamphetamine and knew Trevor Philips was supplying it.

Shrine was able to convince Trevor that he could make better methamphetamine than his current supplier (who was eventually killed off anyway). Shrine was considered by Trevor to be a "intern for Trevor Philips Industries".

After Trevor finding Michael and Franklin, Shrine once again became involved in a sleuth of jobs for Trevor and others. The Lost MC once again found out about Shrine being in Los Santos, helping Trevor (who is an enemy of The Lost MC) and wanted to take him down. The Lost MC did have a Vinewood chapter which was contacted about Shrine from the Blaine County chapter.

With the help from Trevor, Shrine was able to take down the Vinewood chapter of The Lost MC. Shrine did scare off The Lost MC for good. After The Big Score, Shrine was one of the recepiants of the cash (receving $75,000,000 from the heist), he used this cash to purchase another lavish apartment in Del Perro Heights in West Los Santos and a garage located at 432 Davis Ave in Davis in South Los Santos. Shrine decided to sell his Vinewood Hills apartment also in 2014.

At the end of 2013, Shrine formulated his small crew of criminals and close friends known as The Brooding Crew. Shrine stated "he wanted to become solo in a way". Currently, The Brooding Crew has been able to provide jobs for Trevor, Martin MadrazoLamar DavisGeraldLester Crest and Ron Jakowski through robberies, drug deliveries, system hacks and even stealing information from the FIB and Merryweather.
