- For the first time, a GTA game would let you play as three different characters: Michael, Trevor Phillips, and Franklin.
- Each protagonist has his own story, although all three stories are combined in some points. Missions will sometimes include all three protagonists, and sometimes only one or two.
- Story is set in modern day Los Santos and its surroundings. The game's setting is said to be bigger than GTA SA, GTA4 and RDR combined.

I have very good news for every GTA fan:
Take-Two Interactive (R*'s parent company) has reported that everyone's favorite crime-sandbox 3rd-person shooter, the GTA series, has sold over 125 million copies, as of November 2012. It makes GTA one of the best-selling gaming franchises in history (finally tying with Tetris - which sold the same number of copies).
A previous report in 2011 stated that the series sold 114 million copies at the time, meaning over 11 million copies were sold within a year! It also saves R* from their "little" commercially failure with Max Payne 3, which "only" sold 3 million copies during its first week, and then only 440000 copies in the rest of the year.

Today, Rockstar Games has revealed that Grand Theft Auto V is set to launch spring 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Starting next week (November 5, 2012), Grand Theft Auto V will become available for pre-order everywhere and fans can expect a host of new information to become available in November.
Hello criminals and lawmen alike!
Today, IGN has revealed that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will arrive to the iOS and Android devices this/next month - All as part of the game's 10th anniversary, same as Grand Theft Auto III last year.
According to Rockstar, Vice City "brings the full experience to mobile devices, featuring native high-resolution graphics and several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms." Rockstar promises that additional 10th anniversary celebrations will follow, including a new trailer, never-before-seen artwork and "a limited run of collectible promotional items" on the Rockstar Games Warehouse.
