FBI Granger

I'll check it out. An easy way to keep withing the image policy is to follow up the vehicle name with the title of the game it features in e.g. "DewbaucheeClassic (Front&Side)-GTAV.jpeg" with the name, angle and game title. It makes it easier for anybody to find the image.

On a more positive note, thanks for contributing to the vehicle articles while I was absent. It's good to see that members of the community like you share an interest in vehicles. I have renamed your image, it certainly is an unmarked law enforcement version of the Granger. We could wait until the game's release or work together to determine what it is beforehand. It appears that a member of the SWAT team is hanging on the side of it. It lacks external police lighting, extra push bars and any markings, and a black paint scheme. I'm about to go nuts

before the turn of the next hour I'm going to upload an image train. Watch out for the filenames and if they don't have an article yet there's this template that will help you quickly create articles, just copy and paste from that page in edit mode. Re: Creating articles

Here's how I do it;

1. Head to the template plate and click "edit"
2. Highlight everything in the editing area
3. Ctrl + C
4. Create a new blank article with whatever name
5. Click in the editing area and then Ctrl + V

Bay City Apartment

Do you have any evidence that you can buy this? No. You don't. Rockstar confirmed that you can't buy safehouses in GTA V. Tom ^Talk 16:49, September 26, 2013 (UTC)

I do have the game. There is no icon for the Bay City Apartment. You can only buy businesses. Post a picture or something, otherwise, I'm going to just trust what Rockstar said, and what I've seen for myself in the game. Tom ^Talk 16:52, September 26, 2013 (UTC)

There are 15 purchasable businesses, and no purchasable safehouses. If you didn't know this for sure then why did you even bother trying to argue your point? MC Clip

Please  please please I need help!!!!! Whenever I go to the scrapyard in La puerta, there is this gang there. They seem like mafia and I think they might be armenian, however I'm not sure. They seem to be white with beards, gold chains and seem younger than the other Armenians. They also dont have accents. They hang out in the scrapyard and they drive around  streets of La Puerta. Some of them also have a dragon like design on their jeans. So my question is are they part of the Armenian mafia? Or they some unknown caucasion gang? Please answer and thank you.

The spawning system strikes me as a bit odd; sometimes it's based on the type of vehicle that you drive, sometimes the area and sometimes it just seems random. All I know is that the Adder has one specific spawn point :). JBanton (Talk | Contribs) 19:29, September 29, 2013 (UTC)

MC Clip

I'm looking at Bleeter right now and going through all of it. The bleet was from him. You're saying he died during your playthough? Maybe the cops accidentally shot him while you were escaping, cause I had the girls near him get shot by the cops while I was trying to get on a seashark, so it's not a stretch that he got shot by the cops during your playthrough. Idk what happened in your game, but I didn't get that news story. I just too the seasharks and left him there. I recently replayed the mission to see what happens if you kill him and Lamar makes a joke that "you clipped the Clip.", but that's all I noticed. Re: GTA Online

Many players are reporting issues with that first race, Rockstar put out a statement yesterday, saying that they are looking into the issue and hope to have it fixed by this weekend at least. I too have suffered the disappearing character thing, but don't mind starting again, seeing as I only made it to level 6 and hadn't bought any cars, garages and whatnot. That's not how it works. You wait for a decent quality photo and never have a poor quality one, it makes the Wiki look bad. Vanilla Unicorn

Don't start an edit war. I do a lot more than undo, I've reverted about 4 of your edits, all for valid reasons, so don't make ridiculous statements like that. Articles aren't for listing redundant facts. There are many buildings in which weapons can't be drawn, it's not like it's a unique feature. Tom ^Talk 23:16, October 21, 2013 (UTC)

The club is a mission based interior, I'm pretty sure that you can't draw a weapon in any mission based interior. I don't care what you say happened one time for you, you're not supposed to be able to draw weapons in safehouses. As I've stated before, Vanilla Unicorn is a safehouse - another reason why the inability to draw weapons isn't special. What people use this Wiki to find out which buildings you can shoot up? The Sabre GT is not present in GTA V,the Sabre Turbo is in the place of it.this is why i changed the page.

I think the Uranus is based off of the mustang

It says in the Uranus article: "The Uranus is redesigned for GTA IV, having been branded with a Vapid badge. The car is strongly based off of the 1979-1993 Ford Mustang, with the front being..." Here is the Wikipedia article showing the mustang. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mustang_(third_generation), they both look similar

Hey, man. Thanks for editing the Grand Theft Auto page. But thie thing is the GTA logo used today was used since GTA IV. Not. V. Like i said in my summary, the detail of the logo (representing the new HD Era) was used or is being used since GTA IV came out. They did not start using it when GTA V came out. I'm not sure what other categories need completely removing, but there will undoubtedly be some so I'll keep an eye out. Driv3r Wiki

Thank you, and of course, I used to love this game when it came out, well not love it but I really thought it was cool because it was right before Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I just got done adding some HD photographs and updating links and information as well as documenting lots of locations like the Hagia Sophia and other places in Istanbul and all those famous mosques, there is more, but I have at least the main attractions down. I remember playing this as a kid and not knowing what any of the shit was about ^_^ but also, what I want from you is to know if I can start documenting each mission now. I want to know if you want me to do it like it's done here on the GTA Wiki where each mission has an article titled with its name, or if you want me to do something a certain way, etc. Robertbcolton (talk) 04:06, December 31, 2013 (UTC)

He's blocked. He's a blatant vandal so he's gone for good. On 'Recent Wiki Activity' you should see a small icon next to each edit - it's a magnifying glass over paper - click it. It will show you the edit the user made and above it there will be a set of options, one will be 'undo', click that. Tom ^Talk 01:50, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

It's really no different to the undo option. It's just quicker and you can revert multple edits by the same person easier. The reason only staff members have it is because it removes the edit from the Wiki Activity page, so only trusted users can use it. Tom ^Talk 03:20, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

If you want to revert multiple edits just go to page history click the circle at the side of the first edit, and click the other circle by the last edit. It's hard to explain so I took a screenshot. Tom ^Talk 03:25, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

Restricted Areas

You are adding the restricted areas category to every page that ends up being unlocked as the game progresses. It should only be areas that are restricted throughout the whole game. As far as I can see, the block was issued by 452 for incorrect wording ('Saint', and not 'Saints'; it indeed says so when you enter your own hood; you really might not know this if you didn't play the game). About reverting your edits; yes, he has undone/reverted edits where you used piped links. I usually try to get rid of piped links myself, if they can be kept simple. I'm not sure if he has blocked you for this reason also, because it is not mentioned in your block log. If you really think that I can deal with him, then I can't say anything yet; if that means you want him to be demoted, then it's something you should talk with Wikia staff about. I know 452 can sometimes be strict, I really do. You're currently not blocked on Saints Row Wiki and you can edit there. After all, Saints Row Wiki might be different than other Wikis and some other Wikis can block you for slightest mistake.

If something gets you blocked from Saints Row Wiki again or something else happens, then I might really talk with 452 about that.

I've been insulted by hundreds, and they all say the same things, it gets more tedious than upseting. Learning to deal with them is key to being a good staff member, if you get upset or insult them back you're giving them what they want, so you've got to laugh it off, ignore them, block them, and move on.

If you're an admin then warn him, if he continues to revert your edits give him a 3 day to 1 week block. If you don't have admin rights then you can apply for them at Community Central, I think the Wiki has to have been abondoned by staff for 2 or 3 months though, you'll be able to find out more info at CC. It's true hunters aren't really hard, it's just that I can't stand them. Infected are like brainless zombies, they don't have a choice, but hunters are scum. The articles where I remove piped links are the articles where I fix something else. If I only remove piped links, there would be almost all pages edited but I simply do not touch links there because it's a waste of time fixing them.

The reason why I would actually replace piped link is because redirects exist and are meant to be used instead of piped links. I haven't found any rule about piped links, I just use common sense if there is something that needs to be added, fixed or removed.

No, I don't think it's necessary. This poor business comes and goes, every once in a while, we just have to be aware of new accounts vandalizing our Wiki.

Personally, I think we should have a feature that would tell us about recently signed up users with a big number of edits, so we could detect these vicious ones sooner and easier.

However, this would cause expert vandals to know of this, and vandal less frequently, to avoid the radar.

All we can really do is keep being cautious of these people.

Ignore him and he'll go away, respond to him and he'll get what he wants and stay. A new admin based on one incident is a drastic response. It was a pretty bad attack, but he's done it before and sadly Wikia can't really do anything to stop it properly, ignoring him and not giving him the reaction he wants is the only real option. If he sees the mass hysteria he caused it'll only drive him on. I appreciate the effort you all put in to revert his edits, and I get how helpless you must've felt knowing you can't block him, but a block would only stop him for 2 minutes while he made a new account. It's an issue Wikia are aware of but they have issues stopping people like him entirely, they don't like blocking IP's in case it's shared, and even then the user could just go on their phone or use another computer. Little Help

Hey, Smash. I just need to ask something. I want to create a page for the girl that is attacked by the members of the Altruist Cult in the Senora Desert. I want to create a page for her and not the mission, so I can talk about both the mission and the girl without needing to create two pages, like the Snatched and Snatched Girl pages. More like the Runaway Bride and Castro Lagano. However, she does not say her name, so I need to create a name for the page.

My Apologies

I'm sorry if what I create is unnecessary. Though, if you believe future DLCs are unnecessary, that makes no sense. It would be the same to mark up the High Life Update and Heists pages for deletion. It's the same as deleting the Future DLC page. I believe a lot of people would like to know the speculation of upcoming DLC, recent knowledge, and the release dates of them. Well, I believe future DLC is necessary.  A lot of people would like to know when The High Life Update will come out, and when Heists will come out. Since you are a GTA V fan: I just found out that Rockstar is releasing heists definately in spring, around Watchdogs' release. Anytime before June 8th. Since patches are usually released on the pattern of the 3rd or 4th of every other month, heists will most likely be released on the usual patch release or when Watchdogs is released.

Security Guard's name

Hey there Smashbro. I know we haven't really talked much in the past, but I just wanted to clear up this little disagreement going on here about the guard's name. His name is Jaspers, if you watch the gameplay video for the Prologue mission, his nametag can be clearly seen a few instances. You can see it when he emerges from behind the wall to take Michael at gunpoint, and then you can see it even closer after he pulls Michael's mask off. Regarding the Guard's name

His nametag does say 'Jaspers'. I honestly think it's just a random nameRockstar came up with for the nametag - it's possible that other security guards' nametags (if they do have nametags) say 'Jaspers'. Until this is not proven (or disproven), let's keep him unnamed - to be honest, I have no idea why we have a page for a nameless, minor character, doesn't make sense to me. Also, very minor characters sometimes don't get credit in the end - just if you wondered why you couldn't find him in the credits.

you can try playing sweet & kendl and let ballas follow you to normal ballas the ballas from voodoo will be shooting at you but as usually if other gang is shooting near other gang they will attack each other this happens here too 

except that the voodoo doesn't actually attack the normal ballas because they're scripted to attack cj only

if you use recruit everybody cheat you break the script so the ballas will obey cj you cj can command ballas to attack normal ballas and they will get hurt but the normal ballas will be only shooting to passanger balla because he is the one shooting and if the driver balla exits the vehicle he won't be getting shoot unless he starts shooting at cj around normal ballas

well because they're scripted that's why they probably can hit other ballas

recruited normal ballas when shooting at normal ballas their shoots will go through them and they won't get hurt and they will feel like it's nothing

but if the balla isn't recruited and another balla crashes into their car they will start shooting at each other and they will get hurt.

Also are cheats allowed I have seen cheats at some "missions" in this wikia and some of my edits got removed because cheats aren't allowed -.-" if cheats aren't allowed then why are they on that mission page?

I would never find so many stuff without cheats now I found a Sweet&his bike& ballas voodoo underground which is amazing and I am making a video about it right now

Michael's Age

I already talked about this in Michael's talk page, but I think it will take a very long time until someone go check what I wrote there, so I'm gonna talk with you.

What do you think of simple puting 1965/1968 in Michael's date or birth? Because you guys did the exactly same thing with the Gay Tony page! We will finally end all this debate about Michael's age and we will don't need to worry about people changing Michael's date of birth anymore. I think it's the best solution. If we keep the "mid-to-late 60's", almost every new person who joins the wiki will keep changing to 1965, based on what they saw on Michael's grave. At least with 1965/1968, they will think twice before editing and may look at the trivia and see why we use two years. And again, the Gay Tony page uses the exactly same method! Hell, sometimes the best solutions are the simple ones.

Yep I did this mission 20 minutes ago and I was wondering the exact percentage of Lung capacity needed to start it cuz there's no exact indication it's harassing, so I installed Sanny Builder and went to the main.scm and I discovered this line : $STAT_LUNG_CAPACITY > 50 , I converted 50 to a percentage (knowing that the maximum Lung capacity is 1000) and I discovered that < than 5% is needed :)

It's come to my attention that the Merryweather Security page has a good deal of quotes from the plot. Los Santos Mosque

Hey, why did you say there is no reason to delete the Los Santos Mosque page? It is not based on a mosque, and all the article is pure speculation. It says it is based on a mosque in Culver City, which is not, because it is based on the Janss Dome building in L.A. We also don't know if there is a "large Azerbaijani population" in Morningwood, just because Ferdinand Kerimov lives there. Mentioning Al-Qaeda is pointless as well.
