Deleting pages

What's up, Tom?

I just saw this page? about a car seen in GTA V's second trailer, and there's already a page about that car, named:? Premium performance sedan.

As the "Premium performance sedan" page already existed, could you delete the "Unnamed saloon" page I'd do it myself, but I'm not sure if I should delete it word by word, or if there's a patroller tool for that.

BTW: Now every time I write a link, the interrogation mark appears too. Could you help me? This is really annoying.

Plagiarism... it is an insult

Hey Tom.

I've heard a lot about this GTA V Wiki, and I just went on a half minute journey to that trash bin today.

It is 100% info took out from this TRUE wiki. Now, I know I will sound like Armando Mendez from GTA VCS, but plagiarism... it is an insult! 

I thought you admins and bureaus were going to tell the wikia to get that GTA Wiki wanna-be disposed.

Not that I have much to do with that, but I'd like to know about things that envolve the wiki.

Shooting Gallery

My name is Jorge and I am on Wikia's Community Development team.

I just wanted to mention that Wikia recently launched the Shooting Gallery], a one-stop-shop for shooter news and the like coming directly from the Shooter wiki community. It acts as a sort of "sub-hub" page to the traditional Video Game hub, allowing people interested in the genre to take a deeper dive. You can actually go check out the Shooting Gallery now.

If you are interested in spotlighting some news or other community updates on the Shooting Gallery, you can just click the "Submit Your News" or "Suggest a Video" button. You can also create a template page with this template: http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Template:ShootingGalleryFooter to put on features blogs. This is a good way reward users and let them know their content is Shooter Gallery worth. Hoefully this helps spotlight some of your wiki's great content!

Me too, Vaultboy, Tom. He keeps on adding a section about the Xbox version of Independence FM in GTA IV, just to say there is no Xbox version, when on the fist paragraph it is already said that it only exists on the PC version. I've rollbacked his edits, and he undone my edits. I've undone his edits again. Tom, please take care of that annoying pest.

Hey Tom. I'm tired of "fighting" with those guys. I added a comment saying that Sasquatch has low-quality edits. Everyone else agreed. But wait, now comes "Mr. T" and says that I'm incivil again. Request Closing and Taking Time Off

Hey Tom. I stated on my request that I would close it at my own request, but I already told Messi about it and he may close it first, but if you want to, you're allowed to

And what Dodo said about, "he (me) will hate me for changing my yes to a no." tell him I am not affected by it. It is my fault for causing this situation. I should have instead, told an admin about the conflict, but, instead, took matters into my own hands and started this mess. I told Sasquatch that I did not stick up for him for the incident after he was "thanking" me on my Talk Page. He is now blocked about what he said about Dodo "not being cut out for admin" on my request's comments. I am over this situation now.

For my cause in this mess, I'm going to take a one week in a half off of this Wiki, Wikia in general. I guess having my big comeback after being inactive for two months didn't turn out so good. I will be more civil next time in the future, I will apply for administrator's rights when I'm soon ready to be one.

HD Era

How are you, Tom?

The GTA IV, its DLC and Chinatown Wars are still considered "GTA IV Era games", though Dan Houser named them along with GTA V the "HD Era".

I think the templates envolving the eras should thus be changed, and the GTA IV Era and GTA IV Era Character Deaths be renamed.

I don't know why Sasquatch isn't comprehending the interaction ban, and I feel bad because I believe him when he says he wants nothing but the best for the wiki, but if we've got someone aiming for administrator who can't handle a dispute, I don't know. Wikia Theme

I had an idea for the new theme for the WIkia. The backgriund image could be either the three GTA V protagonists or the GTA V cover and the colors of the wikia can be brightened up to feature the more pastel like colors from GTA V. What do you think? Matt Seay (talk) 01:30, April 10, 2013 (UTC)

I don't know, do what you think the best. But the background is not good for the users with big screens (like Bola, his screen is twice bigger. The header looks fine for me, it doesn't merges with the background because of that black line. Now I'm working to fix the tags (patroller, chat moderator, admin, etc.)Dodo8 ^Talk

Yeah, the colors do clash on the right side a little bit, but I still think it looks fine. About the background, we should just leave it this way. If they want a big screen, they should use it for PC gaming, not editing wikis. I use mine for both though. :) I also sent a message to Jeff, saying sorry for what I said last week. Ilan says that Jeff thinks that I try to be favorised by him, and I really don't want him to think that, even if he doesn't accepts my bid, I still want to be friends.Dodo8 ^Talk

Myths

Hi Tom. I was playing GTA San Andreas that my friend gifted to me on my b-day, and I was switching radio channels. I heard the host of CSR 103.9 saying "Have you seen the strange lights and shooting stars in the desert? Just to let you know, it wasn't me!" Also, the Black Project's trivia says that the scientists are talking about aliens or something. And the strange lights are called "ufolights" in the game's files.

I don't believe in myths, but I think we should have a page about UFOs/Aliens, where we will add only concrete evidence and that will be locked to prevent people from adding false things. What do you think?Dodo8 ^Talk

Hey man hope all is good, I've been talking to Mikey about a idea I've had about a new small set of Maintenance Staff, which are like janitors cleaning up the wiki, but they don't have admin powers (I.E Banning people) but they can change titles, changing polls (when ever they come to the wiki), tidy up pages like stubs etc..
