Where it Hurts Most is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories given to protagonist Victor Vance by his brother Lance Vance from their home in Ocean Beach, Vice City.
Mission
Vic goes to Lance's apartment in Ocean Beach who's half asleep and doesn't know what he has recently done. After a brief rant by Vic, Louise Cassidy-Williams calls and informs Vic that Jerry Martinez's goons have been following her and that she's been forced to hide behind a burger bar in Little Haiti, she hangs up angrily which forces Vic to rush over to Little Haiti. When Vic arrives he goes to pick up Louise but after a short moment, she's heard screaming from a Sentinel car which is driven by Martinez' goons and a couple of other goons appear and try to kill Vic. After a shoot-out Vic kills Martinez' goons after him and then rushes to Downtown. He checks around the city and special hide-outs and after struggling eventually finds where Louise is kidnapped. After killing the enemies, Vic gets in the car with Louise inside and takes her to a hospital.
Script
(Lance and Vic inside Lance's apartment)
Lance Vance: Oh, man, what month is it? Did I do anything stupid in the last few days?
Victor Vance: Stupid? Oh, no, no, no, you passed stupid and kept on going, straight on into fucked up!
(Louise calls on the phone)
Louise Cassidy-Williams: Lance? It's Louise. Where's Vic? I need him.
Victor Vance: It's me, Louise. What is it?
Louise Cassidy-Williams: Vic? Oh, thank God. It's that Martinez. He must think we're still an item.
Victor Vance: Yeah? Well, we're not.
Louise Cassidy-Williams: For crying out loud, Vic, I didn't sleep with Lance; we're just friends, which is more than you've been lately. You never call, we never see each other...
Victor Vance: Is this going somewhere?
Louise Cassidy-Williams: I just wanted you to know that Martinez's thugs have been following me. And because I want to get back together, I'm trying to avoid being killed. And now I'm hiding out round the back of some stupid burger bar, not that you'd give a shit.
Victor Vance: What? Martinez sent guys after you?
Louise Cassidy-Williams: I don't even know why I called. I'm gonna kick their asses myself.
(Louise hangs up the phone out of frustration.)
Victor Vance: Wait, wait, wait, Louise... Louise! Lance, you wanna help me out?
(Victor looks at Lance who has fallen asleep and sighs)
Victor Vance: Forget it.
(Victor arrives at Little Haiti's King Knut Burger bar. Louise and Martinez's goons)
Victor Vance: Louise? Hey, Louise? Are you there?
(Louise is seen kidnapped in a car with three Sentinels and Martinez's goons.)
Louise Cassidy-Williams: Vic! Heeelp!
Goon: Is that your bitch? She's Martinez's now. And you're gonna be ours.
(Victor drives around Downtown and finds Louise injured)
Victor Vance: Louise! Hey, everything's gonna be OK.
Louise Cassidy-Williams: Vic... I knew you'd come. I think I need a doctor.
(Victor arrives at the hospital in Downtown before Louise dies)
Victor Vance: I need some help over here! Come on, get a doctor!

Reward
The reward for completing this mission is $500 and the mission Steal the Deal mission is unlocked.
Tips
It is strongly advised that a bulletproof vehicle be used for this mission. If you haven't obtained all 30 Empire Building properties yet (which makes all the vehicles that spawn outside them bulletproof), if you've completed Kill Phil: Part 2 you can purchase a bulletproof Stretch from Sunshine Autos (though such a large vehicle is difficult to navigate in this mission), or complete the Beach Patrol side mission to unlock a bulletproof BF Injection, also at Sunshine Autos.
