Yuka

Yuka is a minor character in Grand Theft Auto Advance, appearing in the missions School's Out and Kid's A Hero. She is the niece of Asuka Kasen, and may be the daughter of Asuka's brothers, Kenji or Kazuki and his wife Toshiko.

In the mission School's Out, Mike kidnaps Yuka for Colombian Cartel leader Cisco, who plans to use Yuka to blackmail the Yakuza and Asuka. Asuka, however, employs Mike to rescue Yuka from the Cartel, although she is unaware of Mike's involvement in her kidnapping. Yuka also appears to like Mike, stating that she knew Mike would return for her. After Mike rescues Yuka, Asuka employs him to do various missions. Later on, Asuka offers Mike her assistance in escaping Liberty City, which turns out to be an ambush involving the Mafia (likely the Leone Family) and the Uptown Yardies. The kidnapping of Yuka may have played a role in her betrayal, although it is unlikely that Asuka would work with the Mafia after the events of GTA Advance and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

Yuka does not appear in Grand Theft Auto III and it is possible that, having already been kidnapped in the city, Asuka or Kenji sent her away. Her kidnapping also proves important in Asuka's initial distrust of Claude in GTA III, with Asuka having him first prove himself by killing Salvatore Leone.
