The Zhouboat is a boat in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

Design[]

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]

The Zhouboat is designed as a large boat seemingly outfitted with equipment in the rear. The outfitting is implied during "Torpedo Run" to be used to drop floating mines in order to damage the pursuing player's boat. The name is suggestively based on Zhou Ming's name, implying the boat is owned by the Ming Family.

Performance[]

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]

Performance of the boat is actually similar to that of the Destroyer, being relatively fast in nautical speed, although its still requires a large turning radius as large boats do. The boat's endurance is also substantially good, being able to survive up to five explosions before catching fire.

The Zhouboat cannot drop mines, as it is only scripted to do so in the mission "Torpedo Run".

Prominent Appearances in Missions[]

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]

  • The Zhouboat can only be found twice during the aforementioned "Torpedo Run" mission, the first during which the player must destroy the boat in a chase on the Humboldt River using a Destroyer.
  • Its second appearance occurs when the player reaches a dock on the southern half of Colony Island to eliminate remaining targets; the second Zhouboat, which can be commandeered by the player, is docked there.
