The Alderney State Police (ASP) is the police force that patrols the state of Alderney in GTA IV and its DLC. The Alderney State Police is not part of the LCPD nor does it have any connection to it even though it uses LCPD patrol cars.
In the ASP, the officers seem o have a more brutal way of talking. Often talking about anal penetration with their nightsticks. The officers are around 20 years old and they often talk about having sexual relationships with the criminal's mother, or their sister. Yet contrary, in the games' files, officers sometimes say "First one to shoot this guy gets a blowjob." Hinting that the officers may be homosexual or bisexual.
There are two types of officers: both are fit and are white males. There are no specific Alderney state police officers that play a big role in GTA IV. Yet one notable officer seen is Officer Hershel. The police of the Alderney state police department resemble those of the New Jersey state police department with their hats and uniforms. The police patches on their arms read Alderney State police in the same patch of the New Jersey state police.
Sometimes the ASP switches back and forth by using State trooper and Liberty City Police. Often of times, when a civilian gets shot by an officer or criminal, they will say "Dumb civilian got shot, send an ambulance." or "Dispatch, after your break, send an ambulance." This most likely hints that the Alderney State police has little or no care nor empathy towards anyone but themselves.
Police Structure
The Alderney State police has the exact structure as the NJSP.
There are a total of three police stations in Alderney, one is a miniature police station located in Acter, Alderney. Unlike the LCPD, the Alderney State Police seem to have more patrols on the highway system known as Plumbers Skyway. This is possibly due to the fact that there is more highway than in Liberty City across the West River. Or it is likely that Rockstar created the police for Alderney to spawn more on the skyway due to them being state police. If the player gets arrested by them, the procedure is nearly the same as if the player had been arrested by the LCPD. The Alderney State Police take your weapons, some money, and release you at the nearest police station.

Trivia
Due to them been slightly inland and native to a different accent, when they talk over the megaphone, their use unique quotes and do not recycle LCPD quotes.
Sometimes, the LCPD will use the unique quotes from the Alderney Police, this is most likely a glitch.
