Alpha Mail. The postal evolution.
— Slogan

Alpha Mail is a courier company featured in Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes from Liberty City, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Grand Theft Auto V , and Grand Theft Auto Online. It is possibly based on DHL.

Description[]

Alpha Mail is a well-established courier company with two locations in Grand Theft Auto IV; a depot on both sides of Jackhammer Street in Industrial and a sizeable warehouse in Port Tudor in Alderney. Furthermore, it also has some presence in Francis International Airport as some of the spread out ULDs (aircraft containers) will sometimes spawn with an Alpha Mail logo and AM serial markings, noting their activity as an express courier (further implying their influence on DHL).

In Grand Theft Auto V, one of the company's warehouses is located in the Los Santos International Airport area while another is located in the Port of Los Santos. The company is also listed in BAWSAQ, further supporting its existence as an established company.

In Grand Theft Auto Online, the warehouse in the Port of Los Santos was replaced by The Vinewood Car Club on June 13, 2023, as part of the San Andreas Mercenaries update.

The Alpha Mail logo appears on some Mule trucks, and in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Alphamail delivery vans are found bearing Alpha Mail's livery.

Also in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, the company plays a role during the side mission Excess Delivery - Alpha Mail. The van parked in front of the company depot in Industrialactivates this mission once entered, thus making the player work for the company in the mission.

They are one of the official sponsors of the CNT program I'm Rich.

Trivia[]

  • Alpha Mail's name is a pun on "alpha male," a dominant male in a group.
  • The company slogan is "Always Comes First", referring to the letter "alpha" being the first in the Greek alphabet.
  • The company's possible rivals are Liberty State Delivery and Post OP. They all use a different type of truck (LSD = Yankee, Alpha Mail = Mule, Post OP = Benson).
  • On the logo, the box being carried is being held the wrong-side up. This could be hinting that their quality of service is poor.
