Big Poppa is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Background
Big Poppa is a drug dealer and a member of the Los Santos Vagos. Some fans speculate that Big Poppa is the leader of the Los Santos Vagos, although there is no evidence to support this.
Events of GTA San Andreas
Big Poppa takes Madd Dogg's mansion in exchange for drugs. During the mission A Home in the Hills, Madd Dogg tells Carl Johnson and San Fierro Triad gang members about the events, saying that he was "powerless" against Big Poppa. Carl and the Triads assault and re-take the home. Carl then kills the fleeing Big Poppa.
Trivia
- Like Little Weasel, Kane, and Freddy, Big Poppa does not have a unique character model, simply appearing with a generic Vagos model.
- Big Poppa is named after the the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G.'s song Big Poppa (1994). Ironically, Biggie Smalls was with a lyrical rap war with the West Coast because of 2Pac 3-4 years later from the game's timeline.
