"I train eight hours a day for this part! Let's go!"
―Brandon fighting Franklin.

Brandon Roberts is a famous Vinewood actor who appears in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V.

Brandon seems to be very full of himself, and compliments himself from time to time. Brandon is working on ending global warming, and wears a t-shirt when he is on PLR that has a slogan or image of ending global warming on it. He has acted mostly in action movies, including one where he is on the Los Santos Freeway and is being chased by a giant monkey (calling it "a nice quiet character piece"). Projects include Flowerman and Family Interrupted. At the end of his interview, he says "Kifflom", which suggests that he is a follower of the Epsilon Program. He claims to have food allergies of some description.

Events of GTA V

Roberts also appears physically in Grand Theft Auto V. He appears in the mission Deep Inside as the star of a new action movie Deep InsideFranklin Clinton knocks out Roberts and steals his clothes in order to gain access to the set and steal a JB 700. During this mission, the player needs to run over Roberts by hitting him with the car while escaping to achieve a gold medal on this mission.

Roberts seems to be a parody of successful actors from the late '80s and early '90s, most blatantly Tom Cruise (his sunny disposition and involvement in a controversial religion clues denying he is gay). His name could be a reference to 80's/90's action stars Brendan Frazer and Eric Roberts.

Mission Appearances

  • In Grand Theft Auto V, he's one of the honored celebrities on the Vinewood Walk of Fame (although his star is obscured by a scissor lift).
