The CJD 500 is a video game console that appears in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It can be found in the Johnson House (where it can be used to play They Crawled from Uranus) and in some of the other houses during the Burglar side missions.
It is a homage to the Amiga series of computers, DMA Designs' target platform from the late 80's to mid 90's, being host to games like Lemmings, Walker and Hired Guns.
The console's CD tray is modeled after the Amiga CD32, while the console itself resembles a Sega Saturn.
The name is a play on the Amiga CD32 and the Amiga 500 computer, CJD is also a disease that is usually associated with mad cow disease. The name of the game console might also be a named after Campbell-John Dick (or C-J Dick in the intro and credits), one of the game's map and prop artist. The buttons of the CJD feature the letters C, J, M and D (possibly referring to Carl Johnson and Madd Dogg) in different colors, much like the buttons of the Playstation consoles, since GTA San Andreas was released as a Playstation 2 exclusive for some time.
The Amiga's precursor, the Commodore 64, is referenced in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
