The Cartel Mansion, previously known as Love's Mansion, is a residence located in Cedar Grove, Shoreside Vale, Liberty City and is the largest in Cedar Grove.

Description

The mansion has burgundy-colored siding with white window frames and black shutters. The mansion also features a pool and a garden at the back, and a detached two-car garage next to the front of the mansion. The front gates of the compound will only open if Claude is driving a Cartel Cruiser.

Events

Events of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

According to the events of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, which was set in 1998, the mansion was formerly owned by Donald Love. After being blackmailed by the Colombian Cartel, Love was forced to escape Liberty City with the help of Toni Cipriani, who was protecting Love whilst he was trying to escape to Francis International Airport. Love flees the city and the Cartel claims the mansion as their own.

Events of Grand Theft Auto III

During the events of Grand Theft Auto III, which was set in 2001, the mansion appears to be owned by the Colombian Cartel. The mansion becomes a focal point in the final mission, when Claude is ordered to bring $500,000 to Catalina in exchange for Maria Latore's life. It is unknown if the Cartel still owns the mansion following the end of the game.
