Claude Maginot is a classically-trained actor who is ashamed at his recent forced career change, a successful audition for the part of the father in Just the Five of Us, a fictional sitcom with a ridiculous premise involving a "mix-up at the adoption agency" and "three zany new house guests". He resents Just the Five of Us, calling it "commercial dross". Both this sitcom and his unsuccessful interpretive dance performance, In the Future, There will be Robots, are advertised on other stations. He is interviewed on KCHAT to promote In the Future, There will be Robots.
During a radio ad for a musical in GTA IV, the musical is said to be taking place in the Maginot Theatre, implying that the theater was named after him.
Maginot is one of the honoured celebrities on the Vinewood Walk of Fame.
He is voiced by John Mauceri.
