Dwaine, also spelt Dwayne[1], is a character in Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a supporting character in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
He was voiced by Navid Khonsari.
Biography
1980s
In 1986, Dwaine resides in Vice City and works as a mechanic at the city's Boatyard alongside his friend Jethro. When Tommy Vercetti buys the Boatyard, Dwaine and Jethro leave Vice City and move to the State of San Andreas.
In 1989, Dwaine and Jethro, now living in the city of San Fierro, meet The Truth at the '89 San Fierro Love In. Dwaine and Jethro becomes friends with The Truth, who also sells drugs to the pair.
1990s
In 1990, Dwaine bought and began running a Hotdog van. In 1992, Carl Johnson hires both Dwaine and Jethro (and electronics expert Zero) on the recommendation of The Truth to work as mechanics in his newly-acquired garage. With the help of Dwaine, Jethro, Zero, Cesar Vialpando and his sister Kendl, Carl transforms the derelict garage into a successful vehicle chop shop.
