View of Emmet's
Emmet's is a small gun store owned and operated by Emmet in Willowfield, Los Santos in 1992. It is a minor competitor to Ammu-Nation which has a store across the street. The small business is gang affiliated, most likely secretly to protect its business, and is frequented by members of the Grove Street Families gang - the Seville Boulevard Families set particularly. According to comments made by Emmet in Nines and AKs, the shop has been around since 1962.
Despite this affiliation, Emmet's is actually located in the territory of the Ballas, bitter rivals of the Grove Street Families. The store only sells older weapons as opposed to its larger, more dominant competitor.
In the beta, AK-47s are supposed to spawn after Robbing Uncle Sam.[citation/verification needed]
Prominent Appearances in Missions
- The gun store, along with its owner, makes an appearance in the mission Nines and AKs in GTA San Andreas. In the mission, Carl Johnson and Big Smoke take part in shooting practice at Emmet's.
- The store can also be visited in the following missions Sweet's Girl and Running Dog, in case the player needs a weapon.
