Eric Ershwitz is the Professor of Contemporary Crime at Liberty City Community College. Dean Smegley employs him at the College, however his fate of his position at the Liberty City Community College is unknown, as Dean Smegley begins to introduce various reforms at the college. When asked about a rocket launcher attack in Liberty City for an article in the Liberty Tree, he says: "When people start blowing up cars and buildings with rocket launchers, there may well be a problem."
