Elvis Impersonators are a type of pedestrians that appears in Grand Theft Auto 2 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Description[]

Grand Theft Auto 2[]

They appear in chains around the whole city, and aren't common. Killing them all in five seconds will grant Claude the Elvis Has Left the Building! bonus.

They replace the Hare Krishna from the original Grand Theft Auto, while the Krishna appear as a major gang during Area 3: Industrial in GTA 2.

GTA 2: The Movie[]

In the penultimate scene, Claude Speed brings a group of Russian mobsters to a bar frequented by Rednecks and Yakuza enforcers, and an Elvis Impersonator appears to be performing live on stage.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]

They are very commonly spotted around Las Venturas; however, they are just regular pedestrians and, in a cheeky example of Racelifting, black, hispanic or Indian. CJ will get nothing for killing them, except some cash that they may drop.

There is a fourth Elvis Impersonator who is white; however, he does not have a unique model name like the other three. This is because he is actually a Tramp with a skullet, greyed sideburns and a tattered white Elvis suit, suggesting that his impersonating career is long over.

The "Black Elvis" gag may well be a reference to the Kool Keith album of the same name.
