The racing event is a live broadcasted, 500-lap race made up of professional race car drivers, which airs on Saturdays on the in-game CNT television network. Despite this, the player cannot view the program when switching the channel to CNT on in-game Saturdays; the only reference to it is the small commercial that airs before I'm Rich begins.
According to the commercial, the event takes place at the Patriot Beer Motor Speedway.
The racing event appears to be based on the famous Daytona 500, while the mentioned Patriot Beer Motor Speedway track would be based on the Daytona International Speedway.

- The two cars at the beginning of the advert are two 1970 AMC Javelins as both the "AMC" and "Javelin" badges are clearly visible, making this the first appearance of non-parodied, real-life cars in the entire series.
