The Declasse Rancher XL is a four-door, full-size SUV in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

The Rancher XL is based on the 1973-1991 Chevrolet Suburban, but with a boxier design. Its front end is most similar to the 1980 Suburban in particular, but could also have some inspiration from the 1984-1996 Jeep Wagoneer. It also shares similarities with the vertical, rectangular taillights of the Dodge Ramcharger.
The vehicle is essentially a four-door, long-wheelbase variant of the Rancher from Grand Theft Auto IV, reminiscent of the FBI Rancher from the 3D Universe and Gang Rancher from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. The vehicle is largely similar to its two-door counterpart in terms of design and features, but there are minor detail changes in the model. On the front end, the bumper is a bit smaller, has riveted details on it and lacks the vertical black sections beside the license plate, while the grille has seven horizontal separations, with the middle one being wider.
On the sides, the vehicle assumes a more generic appearance, lacking the black fenders, the black details running through the sides and the side step bars. The front door windows have black separations beside the A-pillars and uses black trim around the windows, rather than the silver/chrome ones from its two-door counterpart. It also has Light Smoke window tint applied by default.[1]
On the rear, the vehicle retains the vertical tail lights from its two-door counterpart, but because of the permanent rear compartment, it uses a large compartment door with no dedicated section for the license plate. The bumper has similar features as the front one, and holds the license plate on the center.
The vehicle uses a brown leather interior that is derived from the GTA IV iteration of the Rancher, albeit altered to fit into the four-door layout. In the enhanced version, it uses a brown derivative of the interior used in the Bobcat XL and many pick-up trucks, also shared with its snowy variant and Police variant.
Color distribution is different to its two-door equivalent, where the primary color is applied on the upper half of the vehicle, while the secondary color is applied on the lower half. Its stock wheels are identical to the ones from its two-door counterpart, being a derivative of the "Raider" off-road rims seen in Los Santos Customs.

The Rancher XL is slightly slower than its two-door counterpart due to the extended chassis, and its acceleration and top speed leaves much to be desired. Its handling is much better than the previous edition, though. Its AWD drivetrain provides decent traction, as well as good capacity to sort uneven terrain thanks to its large wheels and high ground clearance, though it will not be the best at hill climbing due to the weight and acceleration. The Rancher XL is the only vehicle with live axle suspension, while others with a live axle model perform as if they have independent systems.
Despite its seemingly resilient looks, the Rancher XL's durability is shockingly poor, with one hit often being enough to detach large parts of the vehicle such as its fenders. Armor improves this to some degree, although the vehicle is still quite weak, making it an undesirable choice for a getaway.
The vehicle has a large inline-4 engine with a high-revving and roary sound, which is also present on vehicles like the Cavalcade and the Landstalker. It also has a 5-speed gearbox and an all-wheel drivetrain (30-70, front to rear).

- Can be found around the lone building on the far south-west end of the Los Santos Airport and behind other hangars on the south end. Due to the immediate wanted level earned from entering the airport runway area, a Rancher XL here can be hard to obtain without owning a hangar.
- It can rarely be found driven on the streets of Los Santos.
- Can be also found in Chamberlain Hills and Strawberry.
- Three Rancher XLs can be found in the "Duel" random event in a unique worn red, worn brown, and worn green.
- Can be found in Braddock Pass, Blaine County while driving a Bison.

- Can be found around the lone building in the far southwest corner of LSIA and behind other hangars on the south end.
- Available for purchase from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $9,000.

- Chronologically, this is the first vehicle driven in the HD Universe.
- The crash data mentioned in the description may be a reference to the real-life Chevrolet Blazer with its poor IIHS rating and high casualty rates in accidents.
- Vehicles.meta file indicates that the Rancher XL was at one point able to tow small trailers. However, it lacks the tow hitch dummy to do so. The same case applies to the Seminole and the BeeJay XL.
